Amy Smart was an American model as well as actress. She was born and raised in California USA she started her modeling professional career in Italy. She began her acting career in the year 1996 with The TV movie Her Costly Affair. It took some time for her to star in Starship Troopers in a smaller character. Amy struggled to make the shift into acting since models were not considered as skilled actors and generally were offered small parts. Amy was determined to succeed and eventually she was offered bigger roles starting with The 70s, the movie Varsity Blues. In 2005, she took part in the leading role of the romantic comedy Just Friends with Ryan Reynolds. Amy became famous for her work over the past 10 years. Amy continued to make important films, including the Crank series starring Jason Statham and the series Shameless in which she portrayed a well loved recurring character.
