Amy Smart, an American model, actress and actor. Born in California USA, Amy Smart began her modeling career there. Her first role as an actor was in the TV movie Her Costly Affair. Her struggle to land an appearance for Starship Troopers, a film that featured mostly minor roles, was a gruelling battle. It was at first was difficult for her to switch from modelling to acting. The reason is that most models don't have the ability to act. And they are usually only given small, insignificant roles.
