Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington is a Greek American author syndicated columnist and businesswoman. She co-founded The Huffington Post the founder and CEO of Thrive Global and the author of 15 books. Arianna Huffington is a writer TV personality, philanthropist, and TV host and also the proprietor and editor of The Huffington Post. Her birthplace was in Greece and moved to England when she was 16. When she attended Cambridge University, she graduated with a MA in Economics. The first graduate from outside the UK to serve as president of The Cambridge Union at the age 21. In the years following her graduation, she was a well-known right-wing syndicated reporter. In the years later, she founded The Huffington Post which featured criticism of the present political scene. Her fame led to the recruitment of a variety of renowned contributors. Arianna first gained notoriety during 2003 when she volunteered for California's recall election, in the place of Governor Davis. Alongside that, she was also the leader of a Detroit campaign to encourage fuel-efficient vehicles. Forbes identified her the most powerful female in the media industry in the year 2009. The newspaper was ranked as 12th on the ranking. The Guardian also included her to the list of top 100 media for 2009. AOL Inc. acquired The Huffington Post, and she became president of this media group. The acquisition included a number of AOL properties of the time such as Engadget AOL style list and Patch Media. Elli Stasinopoulos was a daughter born to Konstantinos the manager's advisor as well as journalist.
